We started out the day at the Delta reservoirs. To say it was windy, would be an understatement. Trying to fish reservoir 2 from the shore is kinda tough. you have to crawl over a lot of rocks just to get to the waters edge. Reservoir 1 looks  more like a natural lake. Its also somewhat shallower than reservoir 2. We didn't see much fish action at either reservoir, so we moved to Evergreen lake. It was more sheltered from the wind, but much of the water was covered with downed leaves, making the fishing kinda tough.

Its that time of year again....Steelhead!.....making some eggs for the Rocky River. You can see some large nymphs in the box also.

My new space!

My tying desk was quite a bit larger, but in the basement. I wanted to be upstairs,so the trade off was a smaller space. This way, i only keep what i really need. I think its kind of quaint....lol

I just added a web cam in the "web cam" links, for Bermuda. They are currently beind pounded by hurricane Gonzalo. Check it out.

Imagine making a few of these and inserting a hook in them. Its incredible how life like these are. 

    Here's a little fishing report from the weekend. A friend of mine from work, was fishing this weekend in Lost Peninsula Marine on Maumee Bay. They entered from the lake on a bass boat, and the bass were stacked up pretty good. He showed me some picture's of the fish they cought. There were several good sized fish. So if you get a chance, head out to the rip-rap shorelines of the lake and bay area to capitalize on the great fall bass fishing.

Went to visit my son at college, and found this reservoir right near the campus. Looks like a good place to take some casts. I didnt see the ramp on ferguson, but the ramp on Metzger was in pretty bad shape. More of a hand launch than a ramp.Next visit, i will bring the poles.              Nice Lake Erie freshwater drum. The lake was almost flat calm this day. Quite unusual for the big lake.  

       

The white bass were also hitting today!

She loves to put her own minnows on the hook.
